Had our cat to a lot of Vet. Clinics but Dr. Shrader and his staff are the most professional and caring of all the clinics. I wish I could rate them 10 stars !!!

I've been going to Canal Town for many years, and love the care my animals receive. The office staff is friendly and kind. They worked very well with my scared to death rescue dog; knowing how afraid he was of men, Dr. Shrader purposely avoided being directly in his range of vision. He naturally speaks calmly and quietly. Tracy, the Vet Tech, did great comforting & holding my dog still and also blocking his range of vision as much as possible. I was amazed at how well the visit went. When I have had to put pets to sleep, they had great compassion and sympathy, they understand this is a member of your family, not "just an animal." When it comes to treatments, he tends to be conservative to start, and lays all the options out to you. He lets you decide how far you want to take things when it is a big or expensive decision. He explains what is going on, how certain treatments will affect your pet, what to expect. He's not one to rush immediately to invasive treatment unless it is truly warranted. I have been very pleased with the care and treatment of my cats and dogs by Dr. Shrader over the years and plan to keep going there. All of my family take their pets to him for care. He has very reasonable prices
