It was a great experience. The personal was wonderful. The place was very clean. They did a wonderful job cutting hair. They do take walk in's. I will be returning. The price is very very reasonable.
The outside looks picturesque, the inside was kind of dark and not super inviting. Not a good common area, the breakfast was sub-par (dry, chewy fruit waffle, a cup of Greek yogurt, and a glass of watery juice that may have been Tang), and it smelled like cigarettes inside. The breakfast presentation was lovely, but I just couldn't eat more than half of it and I had been on the C&O for 80+ miles. The room was nice enough and the air conditioner rocked, but the bed was so squeaky it woke us up several times. The hostess was very helpful and friendly, but it felt more like sleeping at a stranger's house than a true B&B.
My boss and I stayed there last year for a night, now changed owners and is being renamed "Bay Farms B&B" I think. excited to see it remain a good lodging option in Williamsport, right on main street, bar across the street, one of Best coffee abked goods shoppes all along the C&O Canal in Dessert Rose a few doors down! good morning to me.
Extremely accomodating with bicycle wash hose, towels, and garage. Lovely interior furnishings of the comfortable but non fussy nature. Cooper, the dog, welcomes happily.
